About the role:

The Role: Are you ready to lead high-value relationships and drive growth across major accounts? At GAP Hire Solutions, we're looking for a results-driven Major Account Representative to join our expanding Major Accounts team. This is a high-impact role with the freedom to shape strategic partnerships, unlock new business, and maximise revenue across some of our most important clients. You'll be backed by the UK's leading equipment hire provider and empowered to make a real difference — with clear goals, strong support, and significant bonus potential. Ideally you'll be based in North West England.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Identify new opportunities within specific major accounts to maximise revenue using market insights and management data
  • Build effective relationships with key internal and external stakeholders
  • Collaborate with regional teams, technical teams and senior leadership to drive account performance
  • Travel extensively across the UK

About You: What We're Looking for:

  • Significant experience in area sales within the construction or hire industry, or other fast-paced sales industries
  • Proven success in exceeding sales targets and growing revenue
  • Exceptional communication skills and stakeholder engagement at all levels
  • Strong negotiation and problem-solving abilities under pressure
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word) and CRM systems
  • Full UK driving licence (essential)
