The Role: Ready to join the best team in the industry and make a real impact? We're looking for a proactive and hardworking Labourer to join our high-performing Plant & Tools Division. If you're someone who takes pride in keeping things organised, enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, and wants to be part of a growing business—this could be the opportunity you've been waiting for.

As a Labourer, you'll play a key role in ensuring our depot runs smoothly and safely. You'll maintain a clean and hazard-free workshop and yard, prepare plant equipment for hire, and support the wider team to deliver exceptional service to our customers across construction, utilities, and infrastructure sectors. This is a hands-on role offering real career progression in a company that invests in its people.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Keeping the workshop and yard clean, tidy, and hazard-free
  • Cleaning equipment and storing it in an orderly fashion
  • Quality-checking equipment before it leaves the depot to ensure it's hire-ready
  • Refuelling plant and machinery, accurately updating fuel logs
  • Assisting with general workshop duties as required
  • Loading, delivering and collecting hire equipment to and from customer sites in a safe, timely and professional manner, ensuring all relevant checks and associated administration are completed accurately

About You

What You'll Bring:

  • Previous experience in a labourer role, ideally within a hire depot or yard environment
  • Strong team player with a willingness to support colleagues
  • Ability to work independently and use initiative in a busy environment
  • High attention to detail and commitment to safety standards
  • Driving license required and a CSCS card and/or forklift licence are advantageous
