The Role: Ready to join the best team in the industry and make a real impact? We're looking for a proactive and hardworking Labourer to join our high-performing Plant & Tool Division. As a Labourer, you'll play a key role in ensuring our depot runs smoothly and safely. You'll maintain a clean and hazard-free workshop and yard, prepare plant equipment for hire, and support the wider team to deliver exceptional service to our customers across construction, utilities, and infrastructure sectors. This is a hands-on role offering real career progression in a company that invests in its people.
About You
What You'll Be Doing:
- Keeping the workshop and yard clean, tidy, and hazard-free
- Cleaning plant equipment and storing it in an orderly fashion
- Refuelling plant and machinery, accurately updating fuel logs
- Quality-checking equipment before it leaves the depot to ensure it's hire-ready
- Assisting with general workshop duties as required
- Loading, delivering and collecting hire equipment to and from customer sites in a safe, timely and professional manner, ensuring all relevant checks and associated administration are completed accurately
What You'll Bring:
- Previous experience in a labourer role, ideally within a hire depot or yard environment
- Strong team player with a willingness to support colleagues
- Ability to work independently and use initiative in a busy environment
- High attention to detail and commitment to safety standards
- Driving license required and a CSCS card and/or forklift licence are advantageous
