Overview
Our Welfare Services division provides a variety of waste services from small portable toilets to larger industrial projects such as septic tanks to a range of customers across the country. We are growing and are looking for a Class 2 Tanker Driver who will be responsible for the removal of waste from customer sites and the delivery of non-potable water. The driver must ensure tankers are in a safe working position prior to emptying toilets and ensure they are emptied in a safe working manner, in line with environmental and H&S regulations. You will manage all deliveries and associated paperwork on our bespoke software systems; training is provided. We would love to hear from you if you fit the profile and are up for the challenge!
Responsibilities
- Remove waste from customer sites and deliver non-potable water using a Class 2 tanker
- Ensure tankers are in a safe working position prior to emptying toilets and that emptying is conducted safely in line with environmental and H&S regulations
- Manage deliveries and associated paperwork on bespoke software systems
Qualifications
- Significant experience in an HGV driving role loading, delivering and collecting equipment from customer sites
- Class 2 driving licence, Driver CPC with a minimum of 35 hours completed and valid Digital Tachograph card
- Understanding of Health & Safety protocols and ability to follow these guidelines in the workplace
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to manage customer queries professionally
- Experience in the Welfare industry is highly desirable
