The Role:
GAP Pump & Power Services Division provides advice, servicing, maintenance, and repair for generators, dewatering, and sewerage pump applications. This includes a wide range of hoses, settlement tanks, and water processing solutions.
Reporting directly to the Head of Pump Services, the Pumps Sales Manager will be responsible for maximising hire revenue opportunities from existing major account customers and acquiring new business. This involves delivering sales presentations to senior management at major accounts and attending depot/customer trade days to promote our products.
The TSR will collaborate with various stakeholders across the GAP Group network, including Regional Sales Managers and their teams, to proactively promote hire opportunities within their existing customer base.
Please note: this role will focus on driving revenue for our Bournemouth depot; hence, the successful candidate should be suitably located.
About You
Successful candidates should demonstrate:
- Significant experience in an area sales role within the Pumps or Power industry
- A proven track record of exceeding sales targets and generating revenue growth by maximizing opportunities from existing customers and winning new business
- Exceptional communication skills to engage with internal and external stakeholders at all levels
- Effective negotiation and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks
- Proficiency in MS Office, including Excel and Word, and CRM systems
- Valid Driving Licence (Essential)
