The Role:

Our nationwide Trenching and Shoring division hires a range of equipment across the construction, utilities, and infrastructure industries to identify the correct solutions to support excavations safely using trench boxes, trench sheets, and braces systems.

Working in the depot, the Labourer Driver is responsible for keeping the workshop and yard areas clean and tidy, ensuring areas are hazard-free, and tools are stored correctly.

The Labourer Driver also ensures that any plant equipment leaving the depot has been pressure cleaned, refueled, and that fuel logs are updated accurately.

The role includes loading, delivering, and collecting hire equipment to and from customer sites in a timely and professional manner. On customer sites, there may be a requirement to demonstrate hire equipment, and all relevant checks and administration should be completed accurately.

About You

Successful candidates should demonstrate the following:

• Previous experience working in a labourer role, preferably within a hire depot/yard environment
• Strong team player willing to support colleagues with additional tasks when required
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced depot environment with high attention to detail
• Full driving license is essential; forklift license & CSCS card are preferable
