Our team is the best in the industry – is it time for you to join us? GAP Pump & Power Services Division provide advice, servicing, maintenance and repair for generators, dewatering & sewerage pump applications. This includes a large range of hoses, settlement tanks and water processing solutions.
The Head of Sales will be responsible for managing and developing profitable sales growth across the UK for the Pumps, Power & Environmental (PPE) division. As the Head of Sales you will lead, develop and manage the performance of your Technical Sales Managers and their respective teams, including carrying out KPI meetings and joint customer visits. The successful candidate will also manage and develop a portfolio of approximately 10 key, existing accounts and will work with key stakeholders across the Group as a member of the Senior Management Team.
Please note this role will involve extensive travel across the UK and so we are flexible on the suitable candidate's location.
Successful applicants should demonstrate the following:
- A proven track record in a Sales Manager or Sales Director role within the Pumps, Power or Hire related industries is essential
- Experience in leading and developing successful regional sales teams is essential
- Previous experience in delivering effective sales training
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to prepare proposals and deliver presentations at a senior level
- Proven negotiation skills and a focus on exceeding customers' expectations
- Proficient in MS office and experience using CRM software
- Driving License (essential)
