The Role

GAP Pump & Power Services Division provides advice, servicing, maintenance, and repair for generators, dewatering, and sewerage pump applications. This includes a large range of hoses, settlement tanks, and water processing solutions.
The Role:
As a General Manager at GAP Group, you will develop and manage your depot team to drive performance and identify opportunities to increase revenue across new and existing customers. Ensuring customer satisfaction through quality audits and customer visits is key.
The General Manager also manages their own Profit Centre and influences all aspects of Depot Operations – from staff recruitment and development to purchasing equipment and supplies.
About You
Successful applicants should demonstrate:
- Significant experience in a team leader/management role, preferably within the Pumps, Power, or hire industry
- An understanding of Pump or Power equipment, hire products, and the customer base in the Lincoln area (highly beneficial)
- Proven leadership skills to develop a high-performing team
- Experience and accountability for profit and loss of business operations
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in MS Office, including Excel and Word
- Full UK Driving License
