Our team is the best in the industry – is it time for you to join us? The Role: GAP Pump & Power Services Division provide advice, servicing, maintenance and repair for generators, dewatering & sewerage pump applications. This includes a large range of hoses, settlement tanks and water processing solutions. As an Electrical Supervisor, you will act as the go to electrical expert across our Pumps south region, including on site installations and site sign offs. You will promote a strong health and safety culture by setting electrical standards, ensuring compliance at both depot and site level. You will take the lead in major projects and your responsibilities will also include staff training across the region. It\’s vital that our engineers are trained to carry out safety checks, testing equipment and diagnosing faults. This role is well suited to an experienced Electrical Supervisor or an experienced Electrical Engineer who is looking to progress into management. The role offers plenty of scope for advancement due to the growth of the division. ** Please note this is a regional role and the base depot will be flexible based on the suitable candidate\’s location. The position will involve extensive travel across our South region, covering Derby – Bury St Edmunds – Cardiff – Tewkesbury – Bournemouth & Tilbury. Successful applicants should demonstrate the following: Proven experience in an electrical role, ideally in a supervisor/manager position and have worked in the hire/construction industry. Experience completing electrical testing and signing off test certificates ECS Gold Card with \”Installation Electrician\” C&G 2391 – Inspection & Testing 18th Edition Electrical Installation Extensive knowledge of electrical health & safety regulations Strong attention to detail and accuracy with the ability to work effectively under pressure A flexible attitude to suit the changing needs of the region A valid driving licence is essentialFrom one division, GAP Hire Solutions now has 10 divisions offering the hire of equipment throughout the UK.
