Overview
GAP Hire Solution\βs nationwide Plant and Tool division hires equipment including diggers, dumpers and small power tools to companies within the construction, utilities and infrastructure sectors. As a Small Tools Fitter you will service and maintain a variety of small tools to ensure our customers can hire what they want, when they need it.
About the role
Role: Small Tools Fitter. You will contribute to the success of our busy depot by servicing and maintaining small tools such as 2/4 stroke petrol tools and a range of electrical tools including saws, grinders and drills.
Responsibilities
- Service and maintain small hand/tools equipment (petrol and electrical tools) to ensure reliability for customers.
- Test and run electrical tools to verify operation.
- Support depot operations to maximise tool availability for hire.
About You / Qualifications
- A relevant mechanical/electrical qualification (or time served).
- Significant experience in petrol and diesel contractor tools servicing and maintenance.
- Proven ability to test and run electrical tools.
- Current PAT testing certificate.
- A valid driving licence is preferred but not essential.
