Join to apply for the Regional Pump Engineer – Cleckheaton role at GAP Group Limited.
The role involves providing advice, servicing, maintenance and repair for dewatering and sewerage pump applications, including hoses, settlement tanks and water processing solutions. You will work as part of GAP Pump Services to ensure our customers can hire what they need, when they need it, through efficient servicing and maintenance of a variety of pump equipment within the GAP fleet.
Role responsibilities
- Travel to customer sites to identify and repair faults or damage to equipment including pumps, hoses and generators.
- Accurately update service records for all work performed.
- Operate as part of a high-performing regional team to support service delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Maintain awareness that the position is based at the depot in Cleckheaton; candidates should be suitably located.
About You
- Proven experience as a pump engineer, mechanical fitter, or similar role with relevant qualification or time served.
- Ideally experience within the plant or hire industry.
- Good knowledge of pumps, hoses and generators is highly desirable.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy with the ability to work under pressure.
- Customer-focused approach and a committed team player.
- Valid driving licence is essential.
