Our nationwide Plant and Tool division hires a range of equipment including diggers, dumpers, and small tools to our customers across the construction, utilities, and infrastructure sectors.

Working in the heart of the depot, the Labourer Driver is responsible for keeping the workshop and yard areas clean and tidy, ensuring these areas are free of hazards, and that tools are stored correctly. They are also responsible for pressure cleaning and refueling plant equipment leaving the depot, updating fuel logs accurately. The role includes loading, delivering, and collecting hire equipment to and from customer sites in a timely and professional manner. On customer sites, there may be a requirement to demonstrate hire equipment, ensuring all checks and administrative tasks are completed accurately.

About the role

• Keep workshop and yard areas clean and hazard-free
• Pressure clean and refuel plant equipment, update logs
• Load, deliver, and collect hire equipment
• Demonstrate equipment on customer sites and complete necessary checks

About You

• Previous experience in a labourer role, preferably in a hire depot/yard environment
• Strong team player supporting colleagues with additional tasks
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with high attention to detail
• Full driving license essential; CSCS card and forklift license preferred
