The Role

Our nationwide Trenching and Shoring division hires a range of equipment across the construction, utilities, and infrastructure industries to identify the correct solution to support excavations safely using trench boxes, trench sheets, and braces systems.

Working in the heart of the depot, the Labourer Driver is responsible for keeping the workshop and yard areas clean and tidy, ensuring these areas are free of hazards, and that tools are stored away correctly.

The Labourer Driver is also responsible for ensuring that any plant equipment leaving the depot has been pressure cleaned and refueled, ready for the customer, whilst updating fuel logs accurately.

As a Labourer Driver, your role will also include loading, delivering, and collecting hire equipment to and from customer sites in a timely and professional manner. When on customer sites, there may be a requirement to carry out hire equipment demonstrations, and you must ensure that all relevant checks and administration involved are completed accurately.

About You

Successful candidates should demonstrate the following:

• Previous experience working in a labourer role, preferably within a hire depot/yard environment
• Strong team player willing to support colleagues with additional tasks when required
• Ability to work on own initiative in a fast-paced depot environment while maintaining high attention to detail
• Full driving license is essential; forklift license & CSCS card are preferable
