About the role
Our Events Division combines the expertise of all GAP divisions to provide a one stop shop to supply the Events industry across the UK with all their equipment requirements. We have a newly created opportunity for a Contracts Manager to specialise in GAP's Welfare division. The Contracts Manager will be involved in the planning and execution of major welfare contracts involving the installation and recovery of products. Directing resources and managing the team and third-party contractors to deliver projects within time and budget. Working closely with the Tanker Services division to ensure efficient pricing and delivery of services whilst ensuring compliance with all relevant policies and legislation. This is a UK wide role involving extensive travel and overnight stays.
What You'll Be Doing
- Full responsibility for delivery of major welfare contracts
- Coordinate stock availability with support of the Service Delivery Manager
- Conduct regular meetings with Depot Manager and Operations Directors involved in delivering contracts
- Create and manage build schedules to improve planning, cost control and efficiency
- Conduct staff reviews and appraisals
About You
What We're Looking for
- Full technical knowledge of welfare products including portable toilets, tinkering, barriers and fencing
- Effective communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels
- Extensive people management and supervisory skills
- Fully conversant in the management of Health
