Driver/Labourer - Maidstone in Aylesford

About the role

Our nationwide Plant and Tool division hires a range of equipment including diggers, dumpers and small tools to customers across the construction, utilities and infrastructure sectors. Working in the heart of the depot, the Driver Labourer is responsible for keeping the workshop and yard areas clean and tidy, ensuring they are free of hazards and that tools are stored away correctly. They are also responsible for pressure cleaning and refueling plant equipment leaving the depot, updating fuel logs accurately, and loading, delivering and collecting hire equipment to and from customer sites in a timely and professional manner. When on customer sites, they may be required to carry out hire equipment demonstrations and must ensure all relevant checks and administration are completed accurately.

About you

• Previous experience working in a labourer role, preferably within a hire depot/yard environment
• Strong team player who is willing to support colleagues with additional tasks when required
• Ability to work on own initiative in a fast‑paced depot environment while maintaining high attention to detail
• Full driving licence is essential and a CSCS card and forklift licence is preferable
