Liverpool gap Technical is recruiting on behalf of an established bulk handling facility located within Liverpool for a temporary to permanent opportunity. The site handles non-hazardous chemicals and palletised goods across a range of industries and operates bulk conveying systems, silos, warehouses, and packing equipment within a busy operational environment.

We are seeking a motivated and hands-on Junior Maintenance Engineer to support the day-to-day maintenance and upkeep of the terminal and associated equipment. This is a temporary-to-permanent opportunity, with the potential for a permanent position after an initial 3-month period. The successful candidate will work closely with the Lead Engineer, assisting in maintaining a safe, clean, and fully operational site at all times. This role is ideally suited to someone with a positive attitude, willingness to learn, and a solid understanding of general maintenance activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with planned and reactive maintenance across the terminal site
  • Support the upkeep and repair of conveyors, elevators, packing equipment, and associated machinery
  • Maintain high standards of housekeeping and site safety
  • Work alongside subcontractors and operational teams as required
  • Follow all Quality Assurance (QA) and Health
