gap construction are seeking a Document Controller to join a leading Tier 1 interiors company with a longstanding reputation for excellence across commercial fit-out and refurbishment projects. Performance Objectives
  • Take ownership of all document control processes across the project lifecycle, ensuring documentation is managed in accordance with internal protocols and client requirements.
  • Maintain accurate records of all drawings, specifications, and project documentation.
  • Coordinate document flow between internal teams, subcontractors, and external stakeholders.
  • Implement and manage document tracking systems to ensure all parties are working to the latest versions.
  • Provide training and support to project teams on document control procedures and platforms.
  • Ensure timely collation and delivery of O&M manuals to project completion deadlines.
  • Utilise platforms such as Oracle Cloud and Procure to manage and track procurement documentation and workflows.
  • Collaborate closely with the commercial and project management teams to ensure alignment on document and data control.
Person Specification
  • Proven experience in a Document Controller role within construction, ideally with exposure to fit-out or interiors.
  • Experience with O&M manual compilation is highly advantageous.
  • Familiarity with Procure and Oracle Cloud software systems is preferred.
  • Excellent organisational skills with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong IT skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and document management systems.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • A proactive and methodical approach with strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
