**Welder/Fabricator – Factory Based**
Location: Huddersfield
Rate: 16.00-18.00p/h

Shift: Monday to Thursday, 6:30am- 4:15pm, 37 hours p/w

About the Role:
We are looking for a skilled Welder/Fabricator to join our team, working on a variety of welding and fabrication tasks to meet industry standards. The role will involve welding on a wide range of materials and pipe sizes in a factory-based environment, ensuring the highest quality and safety standards are maintained.

Key Responsibilities:

* Welding to ASME IX and ISO3834 requirements.
* Plating and welding on Carbon steel, Stainless steel, Duplex, and Super Duplex materials (3mm to 100mm thick plate).
* Pipe welding on Carbon steel, Stainless steel, Duplex, and Super Duplex materials (\” to 12\” pipe SCH10 to SCH80).
* Proficient in welding processes: GMAW, GTAW, FCAW, and SAW (1G and 6G positions).
* Oxy/Acetylene cutting.
* Plasma cutting.
* Operation of JIB cranes and overhead cranes.
* Slinging and lifting operations, ensuring safety at all times.

Requirements:

* Extensive experience in welding and fabrication.
* Proficiency in welding Carbon steel, Stainless steel, Duplex, and Super Duplex.
* Ability to operate welding processes such as GMAW, GTAW, FCAW, and SAW in 1G and 6G positions.
* Experience with oxy/acetylene and plasma cutting.
* Skilled in operating JIB cranes and overhead cranes.
* Strong awareness of safety standards, including slinging and lifting procedures.
* Weld Test on site required
