The Company

As a trusted Tier 1 Contractor who have won various projects and frameworks within the Rail Sector, you’ll be joining an organisation that prides itself on quality and accountability. As a leading railway systems and infrastructure contractor, they provide fully integrated solutions to both the heavy and light rail infrastructure sectors.

The Role and Responsibilities

As the Health & Safety Advisor, you will be supporting the HSQE Manager and wider team on various rail projects across the Kent region. This role will require attending sites to provide regular employee and subcontractor briefings and inductions, carrying out site inspections as well as incident investigations. You’ll also meet with the client to ensure H&S policies and procedures are being met, working with your manager concerning monthly safety meetings, as well as assisting in the maintenance and development of the company management systems.

About You

You will be an experienced HSQE Advisor within the Rail or Construction Sector, and happy to travel to various sites.

  • NEBOSH General / Construction certificate
  • Experience of working on rail/construction, working to Network Rail Standards

Remuneration

Salary up to £55,000 per annum, 25 days holiday + BH, Company Pension scheme, Car/Allowance. This role also requires you to work two weekends every month, but you will be paid either overtime or have time off in lieu to compensate the weekend work.
