As Lead Electrical Engineer, you won’t just execute projects, you will own them. From the first bid to the final commissioning of flagship assets, this is your chance to lead the engineering delivery of a sustainable future.
As the Electrical Engineering Lead, your immediate focus will be the delivery of a 50MW Battery Energy Storage System (BESS). Joining as the Electrical Design phase kicks off, you will have the critical window to influence the technical blueprint and establish a direct partnership with the client before the main installation begins.
However, this project is only the starting point. You will be the engineering cornerstone of this division. Beyond the initial 50MW site, you will provide the technical credibility and engineering heavy lifting required to secure and scale the future portfolio. Acting as the technical authority during the tender phase to provide clients with the confidence that to deliver complex, large-scale HV assets.
- Engineering Leadership: Setting the standards for BESS design and delivery, ensuring a reputation for excellence to facilitate repeat business.
- Project Ownership: Taking end-to-end responsibility from design and construction through to energisation, DNO approvals, and final handover.
You will naturally have previous experience delivering end to end HV projects, understanding the technical challenges and rigour required to move a project from preliminary designs to a fully energised asset with DNO approvals and acceptance.
