I'm working with one of the UK's leading Tier 1 contractors, looking to appoint an experienced Pre-Construction Manager to join a growing Northern team delivering a diverse portfolio of major construction projects. This is an opportunity to lead bids from initial enquiry through to contract award, working on high-profile schemes across education, healthcare, commercial and aviation sectors. The Role

You'll take ownership of the entire pre-construction process, bringing together design, commercial, planning and operational teams to develop winning tender strategies and commercially robust solutions. Working closely with clients, consultants and the supply chain, you'll play a key role in shaping projects long before construction begins.

  • Leading pre-construction and two-stage tender processes
  • Developing bid strategies and construction methodologies
  • Managing multidisciplinary bid teams
  • Coordinating design, planning, commercial and procurement activities
  • Leading client meetings and tender presentations
  • Managing programme, risk and governance throughout the bid process
  • Supporting project teams through to successful contract award
