Their success is driven by their talented team, and they are now on the lookout for a dynamic Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their growing team.
The Role
As a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the production lines run smoothly and efficiently. You'll be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and improving a wide range of machinery and systems in a fast-paced, food-grade environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine preventative maintenance on machinery and equipment.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic faults.
- Support the implementation of continuous improvement projects to enhance efficiency.
- Assist and make recommendations for CI/efficiency improvements.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety and food hygiene standards.
- Collaborate with production teams to minimize downtime and meet production targets.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and logs.
About You
My client is seeking a proactive, detail-oriented engineer with a passion for problem-solving and teamwork.
Essential Requirements:
- Proven experience in a similar maintenance engineering role, ideally within the food or FMCG sector.
- Multi-skilled with expertise in both electrical and mechanical systems.
- Familiarity with PLCs, conveyors, and automated production lines.
- Knowledge of health and safety standards and food industry compliance.
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
- NVQ Level 3, HNC, or equivalent in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering.
