This is not "just another maintenance role"; it is a fantastic opportunity to apply your skills in a high-demand industry that is vital to the UK economy. As a qualified Mechanical or Electrical Technician, you will be responsible for keeping a modern fleet of rolling stock operational and safe.

Essential Skills & Qualifications
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in a Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- Proven heavy maintenance experience in industrial or capital equipment.
- Practical knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and braking systems.
- A team player with a strong commitment to safe working practices.
What you will be doing
- Preventative Maintenance: Carry out planned maintenance activities to ensure the long-term reliability and safety of the fleet.
- Reactive Maintenance: Diagnose and repair complex mechanical and electrical faults to minimise downtime and keep operations running smoothly.
- Operational Excellence: Adhere to rigorous engineering standards and procedures, maintaining a clean and safe working environment at all times.
- Data Management: Accurately record all maintenance, defect, and repair information to support ongoing fleet performance analysis.
You will be working a 3 week rotating roster as detailed below: Mon-Fri: Earlies 06:00-14:00 (Sat overtime available on Early shift); Lates 14:00-22:00; Nights 22:00-06:00.
You must also pass pre-employment checks, including a Drugs & Alcohol screening and a full rail medical.
