Location: Southampton, Hampshire

Pay Rate and Working Hours: 13.50 per hour PAYE, 17.58 Umbrella (28,080 pro rata equivalent) Monday - Friday 07.30 - 15.30

Overview

We are seeking a reliable and organized Depot Administrator to join a well-established company within the transportation industry on an ongoing contract basis. This role is key to supporting the day-to-day administrative functions of the depot, ensuring smooth operations through accurate data management, effective communication, and timely processing of documentation.

Responsibilities

  • Raising and processing purchase orders
  • First point of contact for site visitors and deliveries
  • Inputting data across a variety of internal systems—stock management, purchasing, HR, HSEQ records, etc.
  • Managing incoming and outgoing enquiries in a professional manner and consulting with key stakeholders and suppliers
  • Supporting scheduling, record keeping, and general office coordination

Qualifications & Requirements

You are an experienced administrator who is efficient and IT-literate in using Microsoft applications, including Excel. You are adaptable, able to learn the basics of new IT systems, support stakeholders, and communicate updates clearly to relevant departments and the wider business. Key traits include being self-sufficient, capable of working independently, and possessing solid organisational skills.
