Join our team as a Mobile Train Cleaner and play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of trains across various depots in the North. The Ideal Candidate
- Motivated, flexible individuals with a great work ethic and strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, often covering different locations throughout the week.
Desired Experience:
- Previous or current experience in industrial, transportation, or commercial cleaning.
- Familiarity with full cleans, deep cleans, and graffiti removal is beneficial.
- A full UK driver's license with at least 2 years of driving experience is essential.
Role Overview
You’ll primarily be responsible for exterior train cleaning, including graffiti and dirt removal, as well as supporting interior deep cleaning tasks such as disinfecting surfaces, mopping, vacuuming, and sanitising restrooms. This role will require travel between multiple depots throughout the week to help maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for passengers.
Shift Pattern: Monday to Thursday, between 7:00 AM - 17:00 PM. Friday Overtime Available
Pay Rate and Benefits:
- Hourly Rate: £12.60 (days)
- Overtime available on Fridays
- Company vehicle supplied for depot travel
- Full PPE and training provided
- Opportunity for permanent placement after initial 6-month contract
