We have a vacancy for an experienced Paint Sprayer to join an operational team based in a local paint facility in Bristol. This is a single site position working on vehicle paint spraying in a specialised paint team, supporting a wider repair facility.

You will be responsible for prep and paint activities, adhering to quality and safety guidelines.

The role:

  • Prepare and spray paint, exteriors/interiors of vehicles and associated components, using agreed product methods and procedures.
  • Organise and maintain the workspace to enhance the efficiency of your work and the quality of the product being produced.
  • Maintain safe working conditions in line with Health and Safety, COSHH and customer/suppliers’ recommendations.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience in detailed high quality paint spraying – ideally from an automotive background but will also consider other vehicles or aviation backgrounds.
  • Experience of water based paints would be desirable.
  • Experience of working on larger vehicles or complex projects such as HGV or specialist vehicle livery would be highly advantageous.
  • You must be able to pass a pre-employment drugs and alcohol test and be happy to undergo regular medicals as part of the occupational health and safety policy.
