You'll join a well-established engineering and infrastructure business delivering major projects across the UK, using the latest surveying technology and working alongside highly experienced design and engineering professionals.
The OpportunityAs a Surveyor, you'll play a key role in delivering accurate land, topographical and engineering surveys that directly support the successful delivery of major infrastructure projects. You'll have the autonomy to manage your own surveying activities while collaborating closely with design, BIM and engineering teams to ensure seamless project delivery. This role offers exposure to a wide range of projects and technologies, giving you the opportunity to continue developing your technical expertise whilst mentoring and supporting junior team members.
What you'll be doing:- Carrying out detailed land, topographical, gauging and laser scanning surveys.
- Processing and analysing survey data to produce accurate drawings, reports and models.
- Working closely with design and engineering teams to integrate survey information into project delivery.
- Managing survey deliverables to ensure they meet project specifications and quality standards.
- Supporting BIM workflows and managing data within Common Data Environments.
- Conducting risk assessments and promoting a strong safety culture across all site activities.
- Mentoring and supporting Trainee Surveyors as they develop their careers.
- Work on high-profile infrastructure projects that will challenge and develop your technical capability.
- Access to industry-leading surveying technology, including Trimble, Leica, GNSS and laser scanning equipment.
- Collaborate with experienced multidisciplinary teams across surveying, design, BIM and engineering.

You'll be an experienced Surveyor who enjoys combining technical excellence with collaborative working and takes pride in delivering accurate, high-quality outputs.
You'll ideally have:
- Experience carrying out land and topographical surveys within civil engineering, infrastructure or a similar environment.
- Experience using total stations, GNSS and laser scanning equipment.
- Knowledge of survey processing software such as N4ce and experience working with CAD and BIM technologies.
- A relevant Level 5 qualification (HNC/HND or equivalent).
- A valid PTS certification or the ability to obtain one.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with both internal teams and external stakeholders.
