Salary: 18.00 PAYE / 23.49 Umbrella per hour (Days) | 23.94 PAYE per hour / 31.17 Umbrella (Nights)

We’re looking for multiple Yard Operatives / Shunters to join a busy site in the Loughborough area. The perfect opportunity for Rail accustomed candidates, this role offers consistent hours, strong pay rates and the chance to be part of a key operational team.

The Role and About You:

You’ll be working as part of a team responsible for the safe and efficient movement of Railway Wagons and Engines across a large industrial site. This is a physically demanding role where you’ll be on your feet for most of the shift, carrying out a variety of operational duties. The role is heavily focused on shunting, alongside wagon inspections, coupling and uncoupling, and general yard duties.

Work ethic is key; this environment suits someone reliable, motivated and ready to get stuck in. You can expect to walk up to 15,000 steps per day, so a good level of fitness is essential.
