What will I be doing?
As a Wheel Lathe Operative, you will be operating the wheel lathe machine, which is used primarily to reprofile and maintain the wheels. Typical duties will include:
- Operating and programming the wheel lathe machine
- Measuring and inspecting wheels
- Making sure the lathe and associated tools are properly maintained
- Reading technical drawings
- Ensuring safety and compliance is upheld at all times to company standards
Hours wise, the shift will be operating on a roster of 3 on 3 off 24/7 rotation:
- Day: 06:00am - 18:00pm
- Night: 18:00pm - 06:00am
What do we need?
