The Role and About You

Imagine a mechanical fitting role where your weekend starts the moment you clock off, and you do not have to think about returning to work until Tuesday morning. You will step into a highly optimised shift pattern that completely protects your personal time. Working strictly between Tuesday and Friday, you will completely bypass Monday morning blues. With a rotation of 4 day-shifts (Tuesday to Friday) followed by a 3-day weekend, and 3 night-shifts (Tuesday to Thursday) followed by a 4-day weekend, your time away from work is fully maximised.

Your day-to-day work will focus on the maintenance, inspection, and fault-finding of rail wagons. You will utilise your heavy mechanical skills to handle component replacements, brake testing, and structural repairs.
