We're looking for an experienced Site Supervisor with water industry experience to join a long-term AMP8 programme in the South East. This is a genuine site-based opportunity for someone who has supervised subcontractors and site teams on water or wastewater projects and is looking for a steady contract rather than a short-term job.

The opportunity:

  • You'll be working on water and wastewater infrastructure projects across London, supervising the day-to-day delivery of works and making sure everything is completed safely, to programme and to the required standard.

The role will involve working closely with the Site Manager, Project Manager, engineers, subcontractors and client teams.

What you'll be doing:

  • Making sure works are completed in line with drawings, specifications and RAMS
  • Carrying out toolbox talks and site briefings
  • Checking permits and safe systems of work
  • Monitoring progress and reporting against programme
  • Coordinating labour, plant and materials
  • Carrying out site inspections
  • Maintaining site records and daily reports
  • Dealing with day-to-day issues on site
  • Working closely with engineers and project management
  • Supporting quality inspections, testing and handover
  • Ensuring health, safety and environmental standards are maintained

What we're looking for:

Essential:

  • Previous Site Supervisor experience within the UK water industry
  • Experience supervising subcontractors and site teams
  • Experience on water, wastewater or utilities projects
  • Good understanding of RAMS, permits and site safety
  • SSSTS or SMSTS
  • CSCS
  • EUSR National Water Hygiene

Desirable:

  • Thames Water experience
  • Thames Water Passport
  • AMP6 / AMP7 experience
  • Water treatment or wastewater treatment experience
  • Pipeline, clean water or sewage network experience

  • IR35: Outside IR35
  • Duration: 12 months+
  • Location: South East
  • Start: ASAP
  • Contract type: Long-term contract / LTD or PSC

The higher end of the rate is available for supervisors with strong water-sector experience, relevant tickets and the ability to manage multiple subcontractor teams independently.

Why apply?

  • Long-term AMP8 work
  • Strong pipeline of projects
  • Competitive outside IR35 rate
  • London-based projects
  • Opportunity for further contracts following the initial assignment
  • Immediate start available
