Job Title: Site Agent
Rate: Β£400 per day (Limited)
We are currently reviewing a requirement for an experienced Site Agent to join a long-term, regulated infrastructure programme within the water sector. This is an opportunity to support early enabling and pre-construction activities on a major treatment asset, progressing into full delivery over the coming years.
This role is focused on the early stages of project delivery, working closely with senior leadership to prepare sites for construction before moving into on-site delivery as works ramp up.
About the Role
As Site Agent, you will initially support the Project Manager and Senior Project Manager with planning, documentation, and programme preparation during the early enabling phase. This will include assisting with construction planning, site documentation, and readiness for upcoming works.
As the programme progresses, you will move into enabling and on-site delivery, managing day-to-day site activities, supervising subcontractors, coordinating civils and MEICA works, and maintaining control of safety, quality, and programme performance. You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with CDM regulations, managing method statements and risk assessments, and supporting the successful delivery of works through to completion.
The placement is required from early 2026, with on-site works forecast to commence later in the year. The overall duration of the programme runs through to 2028 and beyond.
What We\βre Looking For
We are seeking a Site Agent with proven experience working in the water industry for a Tier 1 contractor. You will hold a relevant engineering qualification, along with SMSTS and a valid CSCS card appropriate to your role.
You must have strong experience delivering large-scale projects, with exposure to both civils and MEICA works. A solid understanding of construction planning, site management, and early enabling activities is essential. You will need to be comfortable working fully site-based, across all phases of delivery, and be able to drive as part of the role.
Strong communication, organisational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with project teams are key.
