A major civil engineering and infrastructure contractor is looking to strengthen its commercial team with the appointment of an experienced Quantity Surveyor to support a growing portfolio of framework projects across the Eastern region. The business delivers long-term infrastructure works across highways, clean water and local authority frameworks, offering a strong pipeline of secured work and a flexible approach to hybrid working.

This is a hands-on commercial role suited to someone with a strong main contractor background who is confident operating within NEC environments and managing multiple live projects at once.

The Role

  • Contract administration under NEC
  • Subcontractor procurement and package management
  • Managing subcontract accounts through to final account
  • Cost reporting and forecasting
  • Managing compensation events and commercial risk
  • Working closely with operational and delivery teams
  • Supporting framework-based project delivery across the region
