Shift Pattern:
- 3 day shifts then 1 day off
- 3 night shifts then 3 days off
Shift Times:
- Days: 6:00am – 2:30pm
- Nights: 8:30pm – 5:00am
Pay Rate: £16.81 per hour
The Role:
As a Production Operative you will play a key part in the manufacturing process by operating within the cutting and palletising area of the plant. Your duties will include:
- Taking plastic wrapping bags from storage racks.
- Operating controls to release stacks of products onto the wrapping station.
- Manually placing large plastic bags over products ready for wrapping.
- Ensuring products are stacks are correctly positioned for the automated wrapping process.
- Maintaining production targets of approximately 200 wraps per shift.
- Keeping the working area clean, organised and safe.
- Following all company health and safety procedures.
What We're Looking For:
- You will have previous experience as a Production Operative, Machine Operative or Manufacturing Operative.
- You will have experience within heavy manufacturing, industrial production or similar environments is advantageous.
- You can prove that you have the ability to work safely in a dusty, dirty and physically demanding environment.
- You will demonstrate good spoken and written English communication skills.
- You will display a strong work ethic and positive, can-do attitude and effectively as part of a team.
- You must be physically fit.
