I am recruiting for a Programme Planner to support the delivery of a nationally significant water infrastructure programme in the Portsmouth region. This role sits within a major reservoir project and offers the opportunity to play a key part in shaping project governance, risk management, and programme coordination on a critical long-term asset.

As Programme Planner, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining the integrated master programme while providing clear planning insight to support effective decision-making. You will work closely with internal teams, consultants, and contractors to ensure robust governance, performance reporting, and schedule control across the programme.
This role will suit an experienced planner with strong Primavera P6 capability and experience working with NEC contracts on major infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities- Develop, coordinate, and maintain the integrated master programme across all project phases.
- Monitor progress and forecasts, reviewing milestones and schedule performance to maintain programme integrity.
- Review and integrate contractor programmes submitted under NEC contracts into the overall delivery plan.
- Prepare and present clear programme reports, monthly updates, and performance dashboards for stakeholders.
- Support risk management activities, including QRSA inputs and collaboration with commercial teams on change control.
- Minimum of 4 yearsβ experience in a planning or project controls role within construction or infrastructure.
- Strong proficiency in Primavera P6, with experience reviewing NEC contractor programmes.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to present complex data clearly.
- Strong organisational skills with a high level of attention to detail and self-motivation.
- Good understanding of schedule management techniques and risk-based planning approaches.
