Monday - Friday 10 Hour Shifts

Opportunity to work for a major controls panel manufacturing company generating over £15 million annually.
The day-to-day responsibilities of the Panel Wirer will include the following:
- Fabricate panels and fit electrical components according to detailed engineering drawings
- Drilling, Tapping, Trunking, Conduit of panel etc
- Installing electrical components such as circuit breakers, fuses, PLC's, Power supplies, motors, drives etc
- Wiring panels – crimping, soldering, terminating, stripping wires
- Basic testing of control panels
The Panel Wireman must possess the following skills & experience:
- Proven experience in panel wiring within an industrial environment
- Understanding schematics and layout drawings
- Expertise in panel modification, building and machine wiring
- Electrical qualification, NVQ LVL 3 or equivalent or apprentice trained
- Ability to fault find and repair a variety of control panels
- Hardworking, reliable and enthusiastic
- Good communication skills to interact effectively with team members
