Based in Newton Heath Depot, Manchester, this is a 6-month initial contract with the opportunity to join on a permanent basis at a pay rate of £13.05 per hour.
Ganymede Solutions are working with one of the largest UK Train Operating Companies, who are seeking to recruit a Nights Train Cleaner to join the train cleaning team at Newton Heath Depot, Manchester.
The role will cover all aspects of interior cleaning on the trains, including:
- Wiping down surfaces
- Sanitizing touch points
- Hoovering
- Mopping
- Dusting
- Cleaning & restocking the toilets
You will be working on a 14-week rotating shift pattern, which works on a 4 on 4 off/4 on 3 off/5 on 3 off basis. The hours of work will always be 20:45 – 05:30.

Requirements:
- Be able to pass a Drugs & Alcohol test
- Be able to pass a full railway medical
- Provide your Right to Work documents before deployment
- A decent fitness is needed as the site is very large and will involve a lot of walking
