Peterborough Sidings
£12.60 to £22.05 per hour (Enhanced Sunday Rates)

This is a fantastic opportunity to join one of the UK’s leading train operator at their depot in Peterborough. This is an initial 6-month contract with a great prospect to be taken on permanently which presents a great career platform.

The Role
We are currently looking for 2x individuals with a keen eye for detail who take great pride in ensuring their environment meets a high level of cleanliness for customers who use the railway service on a regular basis. This will involve full interior cleaning with tasks including mopping, hoovering and touch point cleaning as part of the team at Peterborough Sidings.
You will be works across two depot site which takes on average 20-25 minutes walking distance in between. These are busy depots therefore a good level of communication is required as you work to ensure a high standard of work and safety is met. Ideally, you will hold a sentinel card with PTS competencies of AC/DC, although this is not essential as training will be provided by Ganymede Solutions.
This is a 7-day roster plan covering the hours of 22:00 – 05:00 therefore, full flexible will be required as you will be working on weekends with overtime often available at managements discretion.

Pay Rate & Benefits
Standard Hours (35 hours p/w)- £12.60p/h
Overtime (+36 hours) and Rest Days – £18.90p/h
Sunday Shift – £22.05p/h
You become eligible for a pay increase after 12 weeks due to AWR. This is a fantastic opportunity as candidates who excel during the 6-month contract period will be considered for subsequent permanent positions. About You

Ideally, you will be experienced within a vehicle / industrial or commercial cleaning environment.
You will have a keen eye for detail and take pride in delivering a clean and safe environment for customers. With this being a safety critical role, you will be required to follow strict safety guidelines
The night shift is on a 7-day roster so you must be comfortable working night shifts, overtime is often available at management discretion.
Training is provided covering depot protection, site safety and cleaning solutions. There will also be PTS training which will be provided for successful candidates.
You will also be required to pass a pre-employment medical, including a drug and alcohol screening.
