Intermediate Quantity Surveyor position working on a live rail framework in the Northwest, initially with a subcontractor, with clear exposure and progression working alongside and into the main contractor team. It’s a hands-on delivery role, suited to someone who wants proper site experience rather than sitting behind a desk.
The work includes:
- Supporting the commercial delivery of rail works under NEC / NR forms of contract
- Supporting subcontract commercial management on live rail works
- Assisting with applications for payment and assessments
- Change management and variations
- Cost tracking, forecasting and CVR input
- Commercial reporting and record keeping
- Working with NEC and Network Rail contract requirements
- Liaising with the main contractor commercial team
