An opportunity has arisen for an experienced ECIA Engineer to join a contract project, offering £40 - £50 per hour Outside IR35.
As an ECIA Engineer, you'll play an important role in supporting the delivery of electrical, control and instrumentation engineering activities throughout the project:
- Supporting the delivery and coordination of ECIA engineering activities across the project.
- Reviewing electrical, control and instrumentation requirements and ensuring engineering activities are delivered in line with the required standards.
- Providing technical input into ECIA design, installation, testing and commissioning activities.
- Working closely with engineering, project and site teams to coordinate ECIA requirements and resolve technical issues.
- Reviewing engineering documentation, drawings and technical information to identify requirements, interfaces and potential issues.
- Supporting the identification and resolution of electrical, control and instrumentation problems during project delivery.
- Liaising with contractors, suppliers and other engineering disciplines to ensure ECIA activities are properly coordinated.
- Monitoring progress of ECIA work and providing technical support where required to keep activities on programme.
- Ensuring ECIA activities are carried out in accordance with relevant health, safety, quality and engineering standards.
- Contributing to testing, inspection and commissioning activities where required.
- Providing practical engineering input to improve delivery, resolve problems and keep the project moving.
You'll be an experienced ECIA / Electrical, Control & Instrumentation Engineer with the technical knowledge and practical experience to operate effectively within a project environment:
- ECIA engineering and project delivery
- Electrical engineering principles
- Technical drawings and engineering documentation
- Working with multidisciplinary engineering and project teams
- Supporting installation, testing and commissioning activities
- Working to engineering, quality and safety standards
