I’m recruiting for an experienced Project Manager with an engineering background to work on major warehouse and logistics automation projects. You’ll manage projects from order through to site completion, handover and warranty. The role will involve working closely with clients, engineering teams, subcontractors and suppliers.
The Role
- Project Delivery: Manage projects from start to finish, including budgets, programmes, costs and forecasting
- Site Management: Coordinate site teams, subcontractors, materials and deliveries
- Client Management: Act as a key point of contact for customers and manage contractual requirements
- Health & Safety: Ensure CDM, H&S and quality requirements are maintained throughout the project
- Handover: Manage project documentation and formal handover through to completion
What I’m Looking For
- Proven Project Management experience
- Engineering background with minimum HNC in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- Ideally experience within warehouse automation, material handling or automated systems
- Experience managing subcontractors and site teams
- Strong knowledge of MS Project and MS Office
- AutoCAD experience
- SAP knowledge would be beneficial
- Strong communication and organisational skills
