Freelance Project Quantity Surveyor – Long-Term Education Project

Are you an experienced Freelance Project Quantity Surveyor looking for a long-term contract on a live education project in Hull? The role will suit a commercially astute Project QS who is confident managing subcontract packages, valuations, variations, cost reporting, and final accounts while working closely with site and project teams.

What we're looking for

  • Proven experience as a Project Quantity Surveyor within the construction sector, ideally with education project experience
  • Strong knowledge of contract administration, ideally including JCT and/or NEC forms of contract
  • Experience managing subcontract procurement, valuations, variations, commercial reporting, and final accounts
  • Strong commercial awareness, negotiation skills, and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently on a freelance basis and integrate quickly into an existing project team
  • Relevant qualification in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, or a related discipline is desirable
