Press Brake Operative Location: Pay: £15 – £16 per hour + holiday pay £1.81–£1.93 per hour. Hours: 39 hours per week, Monday–Thursday, 6:00am–4:15pm Contract: Temp-to-Perm I am looking for an experienced Press Brake Operative to join the fabrication team. This is a hands-on role working with an Amada HFE 130T 3m 8-axis Press Brake , producing high-quality sheet metal components to engineering drawings and tight tolerances. Experience with laser cutting machinery would also be advantageous, as the workshop operates a Boxford BFLW Fibre Metal Laser Cutter . Set up, operate and programme the Amada HFE 130T Press Brake. Produce folded sheet metal components to tight tolerances. Carry out quality checks and inspections on finished components. Adjust machine settings and programmes where required. Operate the fibre laser cutter where required and experience allows. Carry out basic machine maintenance and report any faults. Work as part of the fabrication team to meet production targets and deadlines. Previous experience operating and setting Press Brake machinery . Experience with Amada Press Brakes would be highly desirable. Experience working within a sheet metal or fabrication environment. A good understanding of tooling, bend angles and machine setup. A strong eye for detail and commitment to producing high-quality work. 15–£16 per hour, depending on experience. ~ Additional holiday pay of approximately £1.81–£1.93 per hour . ~Monday–Thursday, 6:00am–4:15pm. ~ Opportunity to secure a permanent position with the company following the temporary period.
