This organisation is one of the leading engineering and construction companies in the UK and provides specialist building, civil engineering, and rail expertise to a range of markets to provide a truly integrated service to clients. They possess proven experience and deliver successful projects in a wide range of industries, including commercial, industrial, education, rail infrastructure and depots, airports, waste, and energy. They will support both financially and through mentorship towards chartership and other relevant qualifications.
Key duties will include:
- Be responsible for Health and Safety for all on site and promote a "Safety first" culture
- Provide training and guidance on HSQE matters across the site
- To ensure timely close out of actions from audits, inspections, accidents and incidents.
- The monitoring and facilitating of compliance to the management system and the requirements of BS EN ISO 9001, BS EN ISO 14001 and BS OHSAS 45001
About You
You will be an experienced Health and Safety professional within the Construction and Aviation Sector. This role is working at Heathrow; therefore, you must be able to obtain Security Clearance. The role is to resurface runway, so experience with Asphalt Concrete or Pavement Quality Concrete (PQC) is a necessity.
You’ll hold your NEBOSH qualification. The organisation will be looking for someone that lives close to Heathrow, to enable you to attend the occasional weekend or night, to review works being carried out.
