Overview
Site Agent – Civil Engineering & Infrastructure (Outside IR35 Contract)
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Agent to support the delivery of major civil engineering and infrastructure projects.
This role will see you taking responsibility for the safe, efficient, and high-quality delivery of works across a range of schemes, including earthworks, reinforced concrete structures, pipelines, drainage, utilities, and associated infrastructure. Working closely with project teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders, you will oversee day-to-day site operations, programme delivery, health and safety, quality assurance, and resource management.
You will play a key role in coordinating multidisciplinary teams, managing construction activities, driving programme performance, and ensuring works are delivered in accordance with contractual, technical, and regulatory requirements. Previous experience working under NEC contracts and managing complex construction activities within live environments would be highly beneficial.
Responsibilities
- Safely deliver high-quality works across various infrastructure schemes.
- Oversee day-to-day site operations and resource management.
- Manage programme delivery, health and safety, and quality assurance.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams and subcontractors.
- Ensure compliance with contractual, technical, and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
- SMSTS and CSCS certification.
- Previous experience operating as a Site Agent, Sub Agent, or Senior Engineer with responsibility for site delivery.
- Strong civil engineering background with experience delivering infrastructure projects in highways, utilities, water, energy, rail, heavy civils, or other sectors.
- Experience under NEC contracts and managing complex construction within live environments.
