Overview
Train Cleaning Team Leader – Night Shift at Heaton Depot.
Contract & Hours
Initial 6‑month contract (Temp to Perm). Working hours 20:00–06:00 in a four on‑four off or five on‑four off pattern across a 7‑day roster.
Responsibilities
Supervise and guide the night shift cleaning team to ensure high cleanliness standards before trains resume service.
Manage roster and shift schedules.
Provide training for depot protection, site safety, and cleaning solutions.
Ensure compliance with safety-critical work requirements, including pre‑employment medical and drug/alcohol screening.
Qualifications
Experience in a vehicle/industrial or house cleaning environment; prior team leader role preferred.
Strong leadership, communication skills, and keen eye for detail.
Ability to work flexible hours and meet set targets.
Pay & Benefits
£15.30 per hour. Candidates excelling during the 6‑month period will be considered for permanent positions.
