If you're an Electrical Installation Engineer with experience working on electrical installation projects and you're looking for your next contract, this could be a great opportunity to get involved in a major water-sector project in Leicester. With an initial 6-month contract, you'll have the opportunity to use your electrical installation skills within an essential infrastructure environment and gain further experience working within the water industry.
The role
As an Electrical Installation Engineer, you'll play an important role in supporting the electrical installation and delivery of works across the project. Your responsibilities are likely to include:
- Carrying out electrical installation works in line with project requirements and specifications
- Installing, connecting and testing electrical equipment and associated systems
- Working from electrical drawings, schematics and installation information
- Supporting the delivery of electrical works safely, efficiently and to the required standard
- Working closely with other engineers, electricians and project teams to ensure works are completed effectively
- Identifying and resolving installation issues as they arise
- Ensuring work is completed in accordance with relevant safety, quality and project requirements
- Supporting testing, inspection and commissioning activities where required
- Maintaining a high standard of workmanship throughout the project
- Working within a live water/utilities environment where safety and reliability are critical

- Working within a project environment
- Following health, safety and quality procedures
- Working as part of a wider engineering/project team
- Delivering work to programme and project standards
Most importantly, you'll take pride in your work and be comfortable working in an environment where safety, quality and reliability matter.
