The role
- As an ECIA Engineer, you'll play an important role in supporting the delivery of electrical, control and instrumentation engineering activities throughout the project.
- Your responsibilities are likely to include:
- Supporting the delivery and coordination of ECIA engineering activities across the project.
- Reviewing electrical, control and instrumentation requirements and ensuring engineering activities are delivered in line with the required standards.
- Providing technical input into ECIA design, installation, testing and commissioning activities.
- Working closely with engineering, project and site teams to coordinate ECIA requirements and resolve technical issues.
- Reviewing engineering documentation, drawings and technical information to identify requirements, interfaces and potential issues.
- Supporting the identification and resolution of electrical, control and instrumentation problems during project delivery.
- Liaising with contractors, suppliers and other engineering disciplines to ensure ECIA activities are properly coordinated.
- Monitoring progress of ECIA work and providing technical support where required to keep activities on programme.
- Ensuring ECIA activities are carried out in accordance with relevant health, safety, quality and engineering standards.
- Contributing to testing, inspection and commissioning activities where required.
- Supporting the handover of ECIA documentation and ensuring technical information is accurately captured.
- Providing practical engineering input to improve delivery, resolve problems and keep the project moving.
