Design Engineer – Fluid Power Solutions Design the systems that keep industry moving Do you get a buzz from turning a complex brief into a solution that performs in the real world?
We are searching for a talented Design Engineer to join the Technical team and create practical, production-ready fluid power and electrical solutions.
Here, your ideas will not stay on the drawing board, you will help bring them to life.
Own the journey from first brief to final sign-off This is a role with real variety and visible impact.
You will partner with application engineers, customers, sales colleagues, project managers and the workshop team to take projects from initial specification through production and customer sign-off.
Along the way, you will produce accurate 3D CAD drawings and Bills of Materials, support confident cost estimates, create clear technical documentation, and ensure each solution meets quality management processes, Health and Safety requirements and relevant legislation.
Bring ideas to life:
Design efficient, reliable fluid power systems from customer and technical specifications using 3D CAD.
Make every detail count:
Produce accurate engineering drawings and comprehensive Bills of Materials for production.
Shape commercially sound solutions:
Work closely with pricing colleagues to support system costing.
Solve challenges together:
Collaborate with project and workshop teams to manage design changes and maintain delivery schedules.
Communicate with clarity:
Create accessible manuals and technical data sheets for internal and external stakeholders.
