Lead Auditor – Rail Derby | UK Travel Required Salary: Up to £60,000 + Performance-Related Earnings + Mileage Are you an experienced Lead Auditor with a background in the rail industry, looking for a role where no two days are the same? The Company I’m currently working with a well-established, UKAS-accredited certification body that has built a strong reputation within the rail industry and has continued to grow across civil engineering, construction, engineering and other technical sectors. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys getting out and meeting different people, visiting a variety of sites and working with a range of businesses rather than being tied to one project or location. As a Lead Auditor, you’ll be working with a diverse client base, including major names within the rail industry. You’ll carry out audits and assessments, challenge management systems and work closely with organisations to help improve compliance and standards. The Role The real attraction of this role is the variety. One day you could be working with a rail client at a depot, the next visiting a completely different business or project. You’ll have the opportunity to travel across the UK, meet a wide range of clients and gain exposure to different sectors and management systems. The role will be a mixture of home based, client-site and office-based working from the Derby region. National travel and occasional overnight stays will be required, so this would suit someone who enjoys being out and about rather than sitting behind the same desk every day. What’s in it for you? This is a great opportunity to take the next step in your auditing career and work as a Lead Auditor within a respected and growing certification business. Alongside a salary of up to £60,000, there is the opportunity to increase your earnings through KPIs and performance. You’ll also benefit from genuine variety in your working week, exposure to different clients and projects, and the opportunity to build relationships across the rail sector. What we’re looking for: You must have rail experience and hold a current national registration as a Lead Auditor. Personality is equally important. We’re looking for someone who is transparent, passionate about what they do and enjoys being out meeting clients and working with different people. You’ll need to be confident in challenging management systems and having professional conversations with clients while always maintaining a positive and consultative approach. If you’re an experienced auditor looking for more variety, the chance to work with major rail clients, this could be a great next move. Ganymede is committed to creating a diverse workforce and is an equal opportunities employer. We welcome applications from all suitably qualified persons regardless of age, disability, gender, marriage and civil partnership, pregnancy and maternity, race, religion or belief, sex, and sexual orientation
